Winter Weather Records
Despite the winter like temperatures around the state the past few mornings, April was the warmest on record in many parts. The National Weather Service says there has never been an April this warn in Elkins, Parkersburg, Clarksburg or Beckley. On the last day of the month the temperature got up to 90 degrees in Charleston.
