Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards will headline the West Virginia Democratic Party’s annual dinner next month. On Tuesday, the party announced that Edwards would deliver the keynote speech at the Jefferson Jackson Dinner on Oct. 8 at the Charleston Civic Center. Party Chairwoman Belinda Biafore said Edwards can relate to West Virginia since both states are recovering from deadly flooding.
