WV Flooding Estimates

Damage estimates from last month’s West Virginia flooding are being revised downward. State officials said Friday more recent assessments show 25-hundred homes were damaged, which is much lower than the four-thousand figure initially released a little more than a week ago. They say the number of destroyed homes is still about 15-hundred but the figures are still very fluid and could still change.
