WV Good Place for Retirees

West Virginia is not a good place for retirees. Bankrate.com has released a list of best spots to retire in and the Mountain State was near the bottom. Four of the top five states are in the northern part of the U.S. and New Hampshire placed first. Alaska was deemed the least desirable place to retire while West Virginia, New Mexico, Arkansas and Louisiana rounded out the bottom five. Bankrate.com focused on cost of living, taxes, weather and healthcare quality among other factors as why each state is a good or bad place to retire.
