WV Least innovative States

West Virginia is ranked one of least innovative states in the country. A WalletHub survey placed the state dead last based on education spending, research and business creation. The study looks closely at investments in highly specialized industries and put Washington, DC, Maryland and Massachusetts at the top. Ohio was 30th and Kentucky was 48th.
