WV Legislature saving money

An auditor says the West Virginia Legislature is saving $300,000 a year by taking care of its printing needs in-house. In a letter presented to lawmakers yesterday, Legislative Post Audit Division Director Denny Rhodes said the Legislature began its own printing in November 2015. Previously, the Legislature contracted out its printing needs for bills, bill histories, Senate and House journals, calendars, and House and Senate indexes.
