WV State Trooper is Shot Near the Kanawha/Lincoln County Line

A Trooper was shot early this morning near the Kanawha/Lincoln County line. WCHS TV reports the Trooper was shot in the abdomen and was taken to the hospital for treatment. It happened in the 500 block of Midway Road, and a SWAT team, Kanawha County deputies, Lincoln County deputies, and troopers are investigating.
