WV’s Adopt A Hwy
West Virginia’s Adopt-A-Highway cleanup effort is coming up and volunteers are needed. The cleanup is designed to get rid of junk and garbage across the state and it takes place the last weekend of the month. Volunteers can sign-up until April 21st and must be 12 or older to take part. It was established in the late 1980s to improve the quality of the state’s environment by encouraging public involvement in the elimination of highway litter.
