WVU football player brings a gun to high school basketball game

A WVU football player and former South Charleston High School standout, Derek Pitts, was cited for having a gun at a high school basketball game. Pitts was attending a George Washington – South Charleston basketball game Saturday night when he was found with a gun in the George Washington High School parking lot. He’s charged with carrying a concealed weapon on school property.
