WVU Tuition
WVU’s tuition is rising by an average of five-percent. The school’s Board of Governors approved a budget of more than one-billion-dollars yesterday that includes the increase, something leaders say was planned despite cuts in the state spending plan. The new budget was not approved until this week as the school waited for West Virginia lawmakers to approve their budget. Five-million-dollars was also set aside possible faculty and staff raises later in the fiscal year.
