Yeagar & Runway Safety

Yeager Airport is hiring an Ohio company to look at runway safety. Airport officials voted yesterday to hire engineering firm Landrum and Brown of Cincinnati to look at the Master Plan for the operation, including the runway close to the landslide area. Cleanup is still underway at Keystone Drive after last year’s landslide and the FAA has asked the airport to review its safety plans. Yeager officials are hoping for federal funds to help with rebuilding efforts.
