Yeager Airport Gets Funds for Improvement

Two West Virginia airports will be receiving more than $11 million in federal funding to reconstruct and repair terminals and runways. Senators Shelley Moore Capito and Joe Manchin announced Thursday a total of $11,688,591 will be given to Yeager Airport in Charleston and Tri-State Airport in Huntington. The money comes from federal funding from the U.S. Department of Transportation. The grants will be used to reconstruct and repair terminals and runways at the two airports. Huntington Tri-State Airport received $8,971,891, while Yeager Airport received $2,716,700.
