Yeager Airport Joins Suit Against Paving Companies

Add one more to the paving lawsuit that alleges a group of asphalt companies created a monopoly. Yeager Airport joined the suit this week against companies including West Virginia Paving. The suit claims the paving companies worked together to create a monopoly that has driven up prices by as much as 40 percent. Kanawha County, Charleston, Huntington, Beckley, Bluefield, Parkersburg and the Department of Transportation are already part of the lawsuit.
