Costs Grow After Yeager Slide
It’s getting expensive to keep up with the situation at Yeager Airport. Airport attornies say the landslide at the airport in Charleston is still considered “dangerous and unstable.” The attorneys represent Yeager in litigation following the March slip. They’ve filed a motion for all parties involved in lawsuits connected to the slip to help cover the cost of collecting evidence from the site. Tab right now is about $400,000. A judge ruled Tuesday that everyone will help pay for the evidence collections.
