Suit Filed Against CSX

A lawsuit has been filed against CSX Corp. on behalf of dozens of southern West Virginia residents living near the site of that fiery oil train derailment that happened back in February. Twenty-seven of the train’s 109 cars derailed during a snowstorm in Mount Carbon. Twenty cars leaked crude oil. Charleston attorney P. Rodney Jackson says the lawsuit was filed on behalf of more than 200 residents who claim the derailment caused an interruption of their lives, through evacuations and lost income.
