Feasibility Study Underway for Sports Complex

If a new sports complex is to come to the Kanawha Valley, a feasibility study will be the first step. This week the Kanawha County Parks and Rec Commission picked an engineering firm to conduct the study. The architecture and engineering firm ZMM will handle the details and report back to the commission with the results later this year. The proposal involves building a new sports complex at Shawnee Park in Dunbar, and would bring new soccer, softball, and baseball fields to host regional events.
