State Budget

West Virginia lawmakers are once again trying to come up with a state budget. Governor Jim Justice vetoed a package a few weeks ago and called a special session. At the time of the veto, Justice said he wanted more tax reform put in place and less dependence on the Rainy Day Fund. The current budget runs out this summer and Justice says preparations should be put in place to prepare for a possible state government shutdown.
