Statewide Shutdown

The Senate’s version of the revenue proposal is making House Speaker Tim Armstead think a statewide governmental shutdown is becoming more likely. The Select Committee on Tax Reform in the Senate passed its version of a bill that would reduce the state tax brackets to three and slightly increase the state sales tax.
