Rick Perry’s Visit

Twitter users have not been very receptive to Energy Secretary Rick Perry’s remarks in Morgantown last week. After Perry gave a “little economics lesson” on supply and demand, many took to Twitter to point out the flaws with his comments. The secretary appeared to have confused the meaning behind supply and demand with Say’s Law of Markets when he said “you put the supply out there, and the demand will follow.”
