Special Session Starts Next Week After Road Bonds Pass

After voters passed the road bond measure, Gov. Jim Justice will call a legislative special session next week to help the projects get started. More than 72 percent of voters approved on the bond vote, with Ritchie County the only county among 55 that voted against it. Justice has said previously that the $1.6 billion road bond would involve dozens of projects across the state and create 48,000 jobs.
