WV lawmakers asking Trump for disaster declaration

West Virginia’s congressional delegation is asking President Trump to issue a federal disaster declaration for over 20 counties in the state. Governor Justice issued the request for recovery efforts after severe storms in February. The lawmakers urged the president to do everything in his power to make sure communities have the resources they need to rebuild and recover.
