More than 50 cases of Hepatitis A in Kanawha & Putnam Counties

More than fifty cases of Hepatitis A have been reported in Kanawha and Putnam Counties. Health officials say it’s part of a multistate outbreak that’s attributed to illicit drug use and the homeless population. Getting vaccinated is the best way to prevent a Hepatitis A infection.
