Marshall police officer assaulted

A Marshall police officer was attacked during a traffic stop early Monday morning. The officer pulled over a vehicle with several people inside on Hal Greer Boulevard when they assaulted the officer and fled on foot. Five people are under arrest. The officer is okay, and didn’t have to go to the hospital.
