School Bus Driver Accused of Sexual Assault

A Kanawha County school bus driver is facing charges for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old girl. 50-year old Leonard Earl Smith was arrested Thursday, and WCHS TV reports the arrest came after South Charleston police received an anonymous tip. Smith’s bond was set at $250,000. His preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 15. If convicted on the charges, he faces up to 25 years in prison.
