Some WV Workers to Get Back Wages
The federal Labor Department has ordered a North Dakota-based oil field service company to pay nearly $1.2 million in back wages to 275 current and former employees in six states including West Virginia. The government issued the order against Wyoming Casing Service Inc. after an investigation found violations. The company will provide training to its managers and human resources personnel to avoid future violations. Other states involved include North Dakota, Colorado, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wyoming.
