Proposal for football practice

The state’s Secondary School Activities Commission is sending a proposal to the state Board of Education that would allow for a three-week summer football practice season. The proposal won by a landslide vote of 104 to eight. The state BOE will vote on the plan later this summer. The only week that is off the table for football practice is the time right around the Fourth of July holiday.
