A WVU student is a Pulitzer Prize winner. West Virginia University Reed College of Media alumna Margie Mason is a medical writer in Asia and has won the Pulitzer Prize Gold Medal for Public Service. She and several colleagues won the prize thanks to an investigation into slavery and severe labor abuses tied to the supply of seafood to American supermarkets and restaurants.
