WARN notices

WARN notices are being given to workers at a West Virginia related mining business. Walker Machinery plans to reduce its workforce over the summer and notified employees in Belle on Friday. It’s not clear how many positions will be sliced, but Walker eliminated more than ten-percent of its workforce late last year. Walker builds equipment for mining operations and has been in the eastern Kanawha County area for years.
