Governor Declares State of Emergency for Two Countie

Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin has declared a state of emergency for Greenbrier and Nicholas counties after Thursday’s storms. The proclamation says the storm has caused rockslides, mudslides and flooding and has damaged homes, businesses, roads and bridges. It says parts of the two counties have been rendered inaccessible by infrastructure damage.
