Drug testing for students

If you are a Lincoln County high school student playing on the football team, driving to school or participating in any extra curricular activities you better be clean. The school’s new drug testing policy goes into effect when school starts. The board approved the new drug testing back in the spring. Anyone with a positive test will have their privileges suspended until they can prove they’ve undergone a certified drug education program. A third positive test would result in a year-long suspension from all extra curricular activities.
