Clendenin Elementary update

The Clendenin Elementary School building will not reopen. The school is the second one in Kanawha County that was damaged beyond repair after the June 23rd flood. The Kanawha County School Board held a meeting last night to tell a packed house at the Clendenin Volunteer Fire Department building that a new school will have to be built. Classes start on Monday at Bridge Elementary and then will eventually move to portable classrooms.
