Tougher requirements for flooding

Tougher requirements may be put in place for construction projects for flooding that receives federal money. The “Federal Register” says the White House wants to put more stringent rules in place on work done to areas prone to flooding. FEMA says flooding is a common type of natural disaster that is expected to increase in the coming years due to global warming. New requirements were proposed earlier this week.
