Truck week
It’s Truck Driver Appreciation Week in West Virginia. Governor Tomblin issued the declaration yesterday while saying the West Virginia Trucking Association is connecting West Virginians with good jobs and a brighter future. The trucking industry provides the state with more than 34-thousand jobs with an average pay of more than 40-thousand dollars a year. The recent winner of the National Truck Driving Champion accepted the proclamation Tuesday during a ceremony in Charleston.
