John Orem

John Orem’s name is on the ballot to become the Berkeley County Sheriff, but he is also facing possible drug charges. In early August, the Republican candidate was arrested after being found unconscious in his bathroom. Orem reportedly had to be revived using the opioid-reversal drug Narcan. After his pretrial hearing yesterday, Orem says he expects the charges against him to be dropped.
