First Woman to Win Police Honor Doesn’t Stop With One
Since joining the police force, Jessi Redden has worked in the patrol unit, traffic division and is now a crash investigator, and she’s the first woman to receive the Jerry A. Jones Officer of the Year Award from the Charleston Police Department. WCHS TV reports now Cpl. Jessi Redden has been recognized by West Virginia Secretary of State Natalie Tennant, U.S. Sen. Shelley Moore Capito and the Public Safety Council for her role as a public servant.
