Teen Faces Charges for Having a Loaded Gun at a Football Game

A man is facing charges after taking a loaded gun to a high school football game at Crawford Field. 18-year old Alexander Haynes of St. Albans was arrested after police officers said they smelled marijuana and confronted Haynes. The loaded gun was discovered in his backpack. Haynes has been charged with possessing a deadly weapon near a school, which is a felony. That would come with two to ten years in prison, if convicted.
