Election Canvassing

Election canvassing begins today in West Virginia. The Secretary of State’s office says turnout topped 57-percent as over 728-thousand ballots were cast. Early voting was also a success with nearly 221-thousand early ballots turned in, the highest total since the 2002 Primary. Officials say final numbers will not be released until canvassing is completed and totals are confirmed.
