Sugary Drink Tax

A few extra pennies added to the cost of a sugary drink is being considered by some lawmakers as a way to put a dent into the state’s budget crunch. The tax being talked about could mean as much as 100 million dollars a year. Officially, the sugary drink tax is not in any new revenue plan yet.
