Arrest is Made After a Body is Found Inside a Night Club
The Kanwaha County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a man’s death after his body was found inside the Foxy Lady club on MacCorkle Avenue. On Friday night, someone at the Go-Mart at MacCorkle Avenue and Kanawha Terrace in Jefferson called to report a man walking with one shoe, covered in blood, muttering he had just killed someone.That same man was found later at Grumpy’s Bar and Grill on east MacCorkle Avenue. Deputies identify him as Scott Johnson Meador, and he’s been arrested and faces first-degree murder charges. The victim is identified as Glen Alfred Carpenter Jr.
