Charleston Civic Center gets a new name

The Charleston Civic Center is getting a new name. It will now be formally called the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center. The name change comes amid a multimillion dollar renovation project. Officials say by changing the name they hope to attract several different types of industries, with a focus on convention business.
