Charleston man charged with animal cruelty

A Charleston man is charged with three counts of animal cruelty. Forty-five-year-old Willie Sanders is accused of treating several dogs “in a cruel manner,” and possible dog fighting. Animal control officers seized twelve animals, six dogs and six cats from Sander’s home on Iowa Street. The animals are being treated at the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association.
