Charleston’s Annual HallowEast Celebration Starts Next Week
The annual HallowEast celebration is coming up next week. It’s a four-day festival in Charleston’s East End that kicks off Wednesday, Oct. 26, and runs through Saturday, Oct. 29, according to the organizers’ website. Highlights include the Scared Sprintless Zombie 5K Run/Walk that starts at 5pm Saturday, and the HallowEast Costume Crawl later that night. Events take place on Elizabeth Street, Washington Street and Leon Sullivan Way. There’s a murder mystery that will be part of HallowEast too, and there will be a showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show at Laidley Field.
