Confederate Monuments

Confederate monuments are a hot topic, and so is the idea of a second Southern secession for some. So-called Southern nationalists are among the demonstrators who’ve rallied against the removal of Old South monuments recently. Many are aligned with an Alabama-based group called the League of the South. League officials deny they are interested in another Civil War. A watchdog group says Southern nationalism is part of a larger white nationalist movement in the U.S.
