Constructions Slows Traffic on I-64

Traffic changes are slowing things down on Interstate 64. Three eastbound lanes are open to traffic near the Eugene Carter Memorial Bridge, also known as the Fort Hill bridge, but the Oakwood Road on ramp is closed for the bridge deck preservation project, affecting drivers trying to get on the interstate from Route 119. The contraflow lane is changing on Thursday, so eastbound lanes will carry westbound traffic. Construction should be finished in October.
