Cross Lanes Robbery is Under Investigation
A robbery at the Cross Lanes Dollar General on Doc Bailey Road is under investigation. It happened Thursday afternoon, and Sgt. B-D Humphreys says a white male suspect wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and a gray colored baseball cap approached the cashier and demanded money. He raised his shirt to display what appeared to be the butt of a firearm in his waistband, made off with cash, and fled on foot toward the Drexel Place Apartment complex.
