Division of Forestry

State lawmakers are calling on the governor to try to find more money for the Division of Forestry. Budget cuts forced 39 forestry layoffs earlier in the year. A motion was approved in yesterday’s legislative interim committee meetings to add the funding question to the agenda of an upcoming special session.
