West Virginia Supreme Court Clerk Rory Perry has accepted a job as a federal court clerk in Charleston. The Supreme Court announced Thursday that Perry will leave effective Oct. 31. He will be replaced by Deputy Clerk Eydie Gaiser. Perry will be in charge of clerk’s offices at U.S. District Courts in Beckley, Bluefield, Charleston and Huntington. Perry has been the Supreme Court’s clerk since July 2000.
