Final sports betting rules approved

The State Lottery Commission approved the final sports betting rules Wednesday and rejected a proposal by profession sports leagues to include an integrity fee. Lawmakers rejected the integrity fee during the legislative session, but the sports leagues tried to convince the Lottery Commission to approve it during the rule-making process.
