Fire Marshal investigating simultaneous house fires

Firefighters in Fort Gay battled two house fires simultaneously about a half-mile apart. The fires broke out around 3 a.m. Wednesday. No injuries were reported. Both homes were vacant. The state fire marshal’s office is investigating.
