Folks Drying Out from Weekend Floods

West Virginia is drying out after this past weekend’s flooding. A State of Emergency was declared for more than half a dozen counties with hundreds of homes being damaged in Marion County alone. Flood shelters were opened and the Red Cross has been helping but state leaders say the flood waters are receding. Weather experts say a strong storm similar to a Nor’easter caused almost 24 hours of straight rain in some spots.
